​Ylva is a yoga teacher from the eastern part of Norway who recently moved to Voss to be closer to the mountains and the countless outdoor-fun possibilities that exist here.
​
Ylva completed her Level 1. Yoga qualification in Goa in 2015, and her Level 2. in Rishikesh in 2016 as her passion for teaching grew bigger. She is now an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher, and has expanded her expertise into other branches of yoga such as SUP & Aerial.

Since 2015 she has based herself on Sri Lanka's South Coast as a freelance yoga instructor and meditation guide, where she also host SUP & Yoga Retreats.
​
In 2021 she paddled Scandinavia's longest river system from source to sea on a Tandem Paddleboard with her husband. The couple travelled 770km over 46 days from Femundsmarka Naional Park to Gothenburg becoming the first people to ever do so.
​
As an active person, Ylva know the importance of complimenting yoga to outdoor activities such as surfing, kayaking and hiking. By combining body, breath and mind she lead her students into a state that makes them more present and satisfied in an active lifestyle.
